Well, a chapter has come to its end in our life and that is Bible College. Arron completed the two year associates programs at CCBCi. We are planning to leave shortly on our short term mission trip to Myanmar. Arron leaves the day after Christmas and I leave after New Years to join him. He will be there a total of three weeks and I will be there for a week and a half. While we are there we will be meeting with new friends and looking into our options of returning with the children this next year, for our long term mission. Also on this trip Arron will be teaching at the Bible College located at the orphanage. I will be working at the rescue center with the girls as well as doing VBS at some orphanages.
We were told that our travel time from Indy to there is 36 hours! Yikes! Looking at the schedule we will be busy the entire time we are there. Al and Pat who we are going with also told us that once we get off the bus at the orphanage about 8-9 children will choose us as their 'main person' during the duration of our visit. So, apparently even though we will be interacting with all of the children these ones in particular we will have special bonds with.
While we are there I will not be updating our website and I will update it after our return.
When we do return we are planning on getting busy mapping out our plans as far as visiting friends, family and churches on this side of the country from January through Spring. Once we have visited everyone we will start to head out West to continue to raise a support team for our mission.
The above picture is of Arron Jr.'s robotic team praying with their coach before a tournament. I put this picture on here because this is another reason we will be waiting to leave. Arron's team has qualified to go to state and we are planning on them going to World's again this year. Please pray for God to allow us to be able to encourage our son and to be able to support him along side building up support for our ling term mission.
