Arron is starting his second semester at CCBCi and we are starting up all of our school year activities, here is a glance into our life...
Arron's classes this semester: Daily Devotions; Life of David; Minor Prophets; Principles of Ministry; Practical Christian Ministry; Revelation; Gospel of Mark; Spiritual Foundation; and Old Testament Survey (listening and journaling the Old Testament vs by vs teaching by Chuck Smith). Arron will be going to a Festival of Life in La Crosse WI, in September to serve with the college.
Arron has been blessed with the opportunity to be working and the Lord has been providing for us financially through this. His time is full with school, family, ministry opportunities and work. He is also trying to stay involved in the Men's ministry at the church.
I will be attending the women's retreat in September which I am really looking forward to, I will also be attending a women's Bible study starting in September. I have been enjoying fellowshipping with women from the church and I have really been enjoying these new friendships. Homeschool started this week, and was SO MUCH FUN!
As a family we served in the Festival of Life here in Indianapolis, which was such a blessing to be used by God. Arron evangelized around the park and prayed with people. Jocelyn helped sort clothes which were given away to those who needed them. I had the privilege of painting women and young ladies nails. The Lord has opened a door for us to serve in children's ministry this year every Wednesday night at AWANA's. All of our children will be in the program and we will be leaders, Arron will lead a group of boys and I will be leading a group of girls. It has been a blessing to fellowship with this new church family on Sunday's as well as throughout the week. Our summer home fellowship just wrapped up as the Wednesday night services will be starting shortly.
The children have been busy with friends all summer long and now everyone is getting back into their school schedule. Arron Jr. keeps us busy with soccer (thankfully it is right outside our back door), he just had his first Robotics meeting which we are very excited about (thank you to all who helped him financially to be able to do this), in the fall he starts football, and he is still doing guitar. Jocelyn has been making life long friends here which is such a blessing! She is still doing sewing with a group of girls during the week, she made a skirt this month and she is so proud of it. She is also doing well in her piano. She starts tumbling through the YMCA here next month with one of her friends. This is a awesome thing for her because she keeps flipping around the house, I'm looking forward to a 'safe' environment for cartwheels. Julianna and Jenavieve loves all of their little friends and they are full of energy.
The Lord has opened our hearts to the people here and to the possibilities He has in store for us, whatever and wherever they might be.
